Two Factor Authentication with Docker

Two Factor Authentication with Docker
We identify the central Role that Docker Hub; plays in the latest application, developments and working on many Enhancements, around security and content.
In this article, I will share how we implement two-factor authentication.
By using Time-based One Time Password Authentication
Two Factor Authentication, rapidly Increases the security of your accounts. That is by two Different sets of Validation. This Guides, that your account is Rightful.
For Docker Hub, it offers something, you know, and Something you have in your Possession.
Since Docker Hub is used, by many millions of Developers and Organisations, that is for sharing and Storing Content. Some Rare cases, that company Intellectual Property.
We select, to use one of many secure samples, for 2FA Software Token, authentication. TOTP Authentication, is more Secure, than SMS based 2FA, which has many attack Vectors and Vulnerabilities. TOTP needs very little upfront setup and once Initiated.
It is Simple than text message-based verification. It needs the use of an Authenticator Application. These applications are Downloaded to Mobile Device authenticators.
It is a hardware key.  To learn about these solutions.
Download Google Authenticator.
Google Play.
Apple Play Store.
Download Microsoft Authenticator.
Google Play.
Apple App Store.

How to Enable Two Factor Authentication in Docker Hub
Basis of TOTP is, that you have to share a onetime Secret, in between Docker Hub and Your Authenticator Application. Either, with a Unique QR code or 32 character String.
After this First Synchronisation, your authenticator will automatically run an Algorithm for changing the passcode. At present Interval, it is now a time-sensitive piece of Data, only you have access to, second component of 2FA.
With Subsequent Set of logins, into Docker Hub, will Query for this passcode in addition to your password.
As the starting synchronization, it is an important part of the TOTP Process. A Piece of Data is Very Sensitive. You do not need, someone else gaining access to this Initial Secret.
As a result, we do not share the code after your starting Synchronisation has Confirmed. If you lose your mobile device or certain access to your authenticator, application. You will not get a login with 2FA.
This is the reason, it is very critical to save your coming Recovery code. That is showed when you start 2FA, in starting time. Memorize it somewhere safe, by that you recover your account when needed.
One Additional note: So many Docker users access, their Hub account, with CLI. Once you have started 2FA, you need to design personal access token, in point to log into your Hub account from CLI.
Traditional Password and User name combine, that not work once you have started 2FA. That is a Personal Access token that designed, from the same security tab, under account settings.
The First DISA STIG’ed Container Platform
Docker Enterprise was designed to secure in default. When you Design a secure, by default Platform. You have to consider Security validation and Governmental use.
Docker Enterprise had become the first container, a dashboard for completing the security technical Implementation Guides certification Process. We have to thank the Defence Data systems Agency, for its guidance and Support and complete sponsorship.
STIG has taken many months, of work, which is around and validating the control functions. What does it really show? Having a STIG accept, government agencies, for ensuring running Dicker Enterprise in the most secure manner.
STIG is the Idea of Inherited controls, that adopt a STIG recommendation, guide an organization's security posture. Here is the best blurb from the DISA site.
Security Technical Implementation Guide, the configuration standards for DOD IA and IA enabled systems/devices. From 1998, DISA has played a complex role, that enhancing the security posture of DOD security systems.
By offering systems/software that will, most vulnerable to a malicious computer stack.
What is STIG Means for Docker Customers?
What is in the STIG, STIG formatted in XMI and need STIG viewer to Read. The STIG Viewer is a GUI Scripted in Java. That specifically, you can find the latest DISA STIG Viewer.
Docker Enterprise STIG can be Found in Docker Enterprise 2.X Linux/UNIX STIG – Ver 1 Rel 1.

ServiceNow Automated Test Framework Changes

ServiceNow Automated Test Framework Changes
Automated Test Framework, from every release, since, It was started, it expands capabilities of this tool.
Benefits of Automated Test Framework
  1. Create test Suites for organizing and Running tests in batches.
  2. Schedule Test suite Runs.
  3. Decrease custom test steps for expanding test coverage.
  4. Start test design time, that is by copying quick start tests and best test suites.
you become a professional learn Servicenow online training

You can see the framework changes below.
Parallel Testing and Mutual Exclusive Tests
In old Releases, ATF will run effectively, on a single thread of testing. When there is queue of tests, the next test will run on system. If it needs, a client sidestep.
The next upcoming client-side runner would take it up. With New York release, testing will run in parallel. When running big suites, tests will in parallel until the testing consumes, roughly half of the resources of Instance.
This does not Apply, the automated testing design principles of isolating them, to run them independently. Which is more critical, the system automatically, designed in mutual exclusion, rules, when the tests were acting on same record.
The developer has some control over this. Tests will Identify, certain sets of tests, which are mutually exclusive. Which will avoid them from running at it, which avoid them from running, at the same and equal time?
Create a User Test Step
Many, ATF tests start, began with a step in which, the test imitated a user on the system. With Roles and groups to test. As of New York, that strategy has been deprecated, in favor of utilizing the design user test step.
Create a User Test Sequence, for asking for last and first time, name, roles, and groups for user. It transparently handles all other details. This allows for best isolation, of tests from data of system.
In the past, If the user Impersonated for test had roles modified on system. It may break tests. Now tests, designed with creating user steps, which are Independent of the data that exist on system.
When the user is designed, by test step, that record is available, to further steps. With Data, pill picker. If you need to design, a record or use data of the newly designed user, they available to rest of test.
Roll Back In browser Sessions
There is no change, to the way rollback happens in New York when activity recorded from client-side test runner to roll backward. It is very important, that you do not do any type of modification to system, during the period from same browser session.
That your client-side, test is operating from, these modifications were brought in point to speed up test execution.
When progressing, the activity that came from the test frame, the system have to wait for the end. It is because the page may be very refreshing itself.
All activity is recorded for complete roll back from the session. The system has to wait for completion of it because the page may be refreshing by itself.
Now every activity is recorded for rollback from the session, whether it came with test runner.
Total, this is a positive change to increase, the speed at which tests operate, which guide you out in proportion to many numbers of tests, that have to Run.
When you are developing, however be sure not to initiate from browser and session. The test runner is executing a test, or you will get behavior, you do not like every time running the client-side, test runner, from an Incognito window, will be pretty good and best practice.
Attachment Test Steps
Some functionality, of system needs that an. attachment exists Like a business rule that enforces that an attachment exists before, a record can modify the state.
This functionality is easier for testing, there we have two flavors, of this, and one that uploads with form for UI depended on client-based side test. One uses the server API to upload.
In another strategy, the test will wait for some attachment, for uploading before, the test proceeds, to next and upcoming steps.
Conclusion
With every release, the amount of operating system logic, that tested by ATF Increase. Whether testing for basic system operation, at upgrade schedule or by using ATF, that actively develops functionality.you become a professional learn Servicenow training

HADOOP BIG DATA SOLUTIONS

 Traditional Enterprise Approach

In this approach, an enterprise will have a computer to store and process big data. For storage purposes, the programmers will take the help of their choice of database vendors such as Oracle, IBM, etc. In this approach, the user interacts with the application, which in turn handles the part of data storage and analysis.

Limitation

This approach works fine with those applications that process less voluminous data that can be accommodated by standard database servers, or up to the limit of the processor that is processing the data. But when it comes to dealing with huge amounts of scalable data, it is a hectic task to process such data through a single database bottleneck.

 Google’s Solution

Google solved this problem by using an algorithm called MapReduce. This algorithm divides the task into small parts and assigns them to many computers, and collects the results from them which when integrated, form the result dataset.

 Hadoop

Using the solution provided by Google, Doug Cutting and his team developed an Open Source Project called HADOOP.
Hadoop runs applications using the MapReduce algorithm, where the data is processed in parallel with others. In short, Hadoop is used to develop applications that could perform a complete statistical analysis of huge amounts of data.

IoT Healthcare Applications

IoT systems applied to healthcare enhance existing technology and the general practice of medicine. They expand the reach of professionals within a facility and far beyond it. They increase both the accuracy and size of medical data through diverse data collection from large sets of real-world cases. They also improve the precision of medical care delivery through the more sophisticated integration of the healthcare system.

Research

Much of current medical research relies on resources lacking critical real-world information. It uses controlled environments, volunteers, and essentially leftovers for medical examination. IoT opens the door to a wealth of valuable information through real-time field data, analysis, and testing.
IoT can deliver relevant data superior to standard analytics through integrated instruments capable of performing viable research. It also integrates into actual practice to provide more key information. This aids in healthcare by providing more reliable and practical data, and better leads; which yields better solutions and discovery of previously unknown issues.
It also allows researchers to avoid risks by gathering data without manufactured scenarios and human testing.

Devices

Current devices are rapidly improving in precision, power, and availability; however, they still offer less of these qualities than an IoT system integrating the right system effectively. IoT unlocks the potential of existing technology and leads us toward new and better medical device solutions.
IoT closes gaps between the equipment and the way we deliver healthcare by creating a logical system rather than a collection of tools. It then reveals patterns and missing elements in healthcare such as obvious necessary improvements or huge flaws.

Care

Perhaps the greatest improvement IoT brings to healthcare is in the actual practice of medicine because it empowers healthcare professionals to better use their training and knowledge to solve problems. They utilize far better data and equipment, which gives them a window into blind spots and supports more swift, precise actions. Their decision-making is no longer limited by the disconnects of current systems and bad data.
IoT also improves their professional development because they actually exercise their talent rather than spending too much time on administrative or manual tasks. Their organizational decisions also improve because technology provides a better vantage point.

Medical Information Distribution

One of the challenges of medical care is the distribution of accurate and current information to patients. Healthcare also struggles with guidance given the complexity of the following guidance. IoT devices not only improve facilities and professional practice, but also health in the daily lives of individuals.
IoT devices give direct, 24/7 access to the patient in a less intrusive way than other options. They take healthcare out of facilities and into the home, office, or social space. They empower individuals in attending to their own health and allow providers to deliver better and more granular care to patients. This results in fewer accidents from miscommunication, improved patient satisfaction, and better preventive care.

Emergency Care

The advanced automation and analytics of IoT allow more powerful emergency support services, which typically suffer from their limited resources and disconnect with the base facility. It provides a way to analyze an emergency in a more complete way from miles away. It also gives more providers access to the patient prior to their arrival. IoT gives providers critical information for delivering essential care on arrival. It also raises the level of care available to a patient received by emergency professionals. This reduces the associated losses and improves emergency healthcare.

IoT − Key Features

The most important features of IoT include artificial intelligence, connectivity, sensors, active engagement, and small device use. A brief review of these features is given below:
•AI – IoT essentially makes virtually anything “smart”, meaning it enhances every aspect of life with the power of data collection, artificial intelligence algorithms, and networks. This can mean something as simple as enhancing your refrigerator and cabinets to detect when milk and your favorite cereal run low, and to then place an order with your preferred grocer.
•Connectivity – New enabling technologies for networking, and specifically IoT networking, mean networks are no longer exclusively tied to major providers. Networks can exist on a much smaller and cheaper scale while still being practical. IoT creates these small networks between its system devices.
•Sensors – IoT loses its distinction without sensors. They act as defining instruments which transform IoT from a standard passive network of devices into an active system capable of real-world integration.
•Active Engagement – Much of today's interaction with connected technology happens through passive engagement. IoT introduces a new paradigm for active content, product, or service engagement.
•Small Devices – Devices, as predicted, have become smaller, cheaper, and more powerful over time. IoT exploits purpose-built small devices to deliver its precision, scalability, and versatility.

IoT − Advantages

The advantages of IoT span across every area of lifestyle and business. Here is a list of some of the advantages that IoT has to offer:
•Improved Customer Engagement – Current analytics suffer from blind-spots and significant flaws in accuracy; and as noted, engagement remains passive. IoT completely transforms this to achieve richer and more effective engagement with audiences.
•Technology Optimization – The same technologies and data which improve the customer experience also improve device use, and aid in more potent improvements to technology. IoT unlocks a world of critical functional and field data.
•Reduced Waste – IoT makes areas of improvement clear. Current analytics give us superficial insight, but IoT provides real-world information leading to more effective management of resources.
•Enhanced Data Collection – Modern data collection suffers from its limitations and its design for passive use. IoT breaks it out of those spaces, and places it exactly where humans really want to go to analyze our world. It allows an accurate picture of everything.

IoT − Disadvantages

Though IoT delivers an impressive set of benefits, it also presents a significant set of challenges. Here is a list of some its major issues:
•Security – IoT creates an ecosystem of constantly connected devices communicating over networks. The system offers little control despite any security measures. This leaves users exposed to various kinds of attackers.
•Privacy – The sophistication of IoT provides substantial personal data in extreme detail without the user's active participation.
•Complexity – Some find IoT systems complicated in terms of design, deployment, and maintenance given their use of multiple technologies and a large set of new enabling technologies.
•Flexibility – Many are concerned about the flexibility of an IoT system to integrate easily with another. They worry about finding themselves with several conflicting or locked systems.
•Compliance – IoT, like any other technology in the realm of business, must comply with regulations. Its complexity makes the issue of compliance seem incredibly challenging when many consider standard software compliance a battle.
